AE Automate connects your firm's ERP to your project storage systems. When a new project is created in your ERP, AE Automate automatically creates the correct, standardized project folder structure on your file server, according to rules and templates your firm defines.
AE Automate currently supports BQE CORE, with Deltek, Unanet, and Ajera-class ERPs on our roadmap. If you use a different ERP, let us know when you reach out and we'll share our current timeline.
AE Automate uses a lightweight local agent installed inside your network that has access to the folder locations you designate. AE Automate's cloud service never has direct access to your file server or its contents.
No. The Windows agent only makes outbound HTTPS connections. You never need to open inbound firewall ports for AE Automate to work.
Yes. You can design folder templates specific to your firm, including nested subfolders, naming conventions, and discipline- or office-specific structures.
Yes. Templates support variables such as project number, project name, client, office, and discipline, so folder names stay consistent and accurate automatically.
Yes. The rules engine can apply different templates and destinations based on project type, office, discipline, or other project attributes from your ERP.
No. AE Automate is built for architecture, engineering, and related professional services firms with similar project-based operations and folder standardization needs.
Pricing is a simple monthly subscription based on firm size and feature needs, from Foundation through Enterprise. One-time onboarding and configuration packages are also available. See our Pricing page for details.
Single sign-on is available today for Enterprise customers, with broader SSO support planned as we continue to build out our security and identity features.
Folder-level permissions remain under your firm's control today. Automated permission assignment is on our roadmap; in the meantime, AE Automate creates the folder structure your existing permission policies apply to.
Yes. In addition to folder structures, AE Automate can copy standard template files, such as starter documents or checklists, into the appropriate folders as part of project setup.
